Who is this course for?
Trainers with a responsibility for delivering Trauma Training to personnel who may have to manage casualties prior to the arrival of Paramedics at the scene of an incident.

Course Outline
The Trauma Trainer programme has been developed to enable individuals to deliver trauma training which provides a level of knowledge and skill suited to individuals with a pre-hospital care responsibility whilst also meeting the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive First Aid at Work Regulations 1981. Delivered in conjunction with pre-hospital care specialists this programme focuses upon casualty centred rescue techniques. The programme is assessed by written papers and by direct observation of sessions delivered by the delegate.

Future Development
Following successful completion of this programme and upon having gained the necessary experience individuals can continue their development by undertaking the Road Traffic Collision Trainer and Large Goods Vehicle Collision Trainer courses.
