Fire Marshal
Duration: One Day
Who is this course for? Any person who may be called upon to take action in the event of a fire and help management meet their responsibilities under the Fire Safety Order 2005.
Course Outline and Assessment To give a greater awareness of fire and its associated dangers and to give practical “hands on” experience in the correct use of fire extinguishers. The delegate will also understand the generic requirements of a Fire Marshal.
During the course the delegate will have the opportunity to extinguish live fires. The student will be introduced into the principals of a fire risk assessment including fire routines and the maintenance of a means of escape.
Following a short written assessment an individual certificate will be issued.
