Hot Fire Training
Duration 1, 2, or 3 Days
Who is this course for? Personnel with a requirement to respond to an emergency fire or rescue situation within an organisation.
Course Outline These courses cover the skills and techniques that are required to safely respond to an onsite emergency situation. Although most of these courses are company specific they cover the following where required; effective communication and team building, safe use of firefighting equipment and breathing apparatus, internal and external firefighting techniques and casualty handling. Many of the exercises make full use of our varied hot fire training venues. Many of these courses are accredited by JOIFF the Joint Oil and Industry Fire Forum.
Benefits Organisations are well aware of the implications of emergency situations at their place of work with regards to injuries to personnel, the surrounding community, the environment, and potential loss of business. These courses will enhance the firefighting and team work skills of organisation's emergency response personnel by offering challenging training scenarios in realistic situations. Having a well trained competent response team will support your strategic contingency plans when an initial response by your own onsite personnel can mitigate the potential devastation that can be caused by fire.
Assessments Assessment of delegates will be made by continual visual observation and questioning by competent and experienced trainers.
