Who is this course for? Personnel with a requirement to respond to and lead a team in an emergency fire or rescue situation.
Course Outline This course is accredited by JOIFF - the Joint Oil And Industry Fire Forum and covers the skills and techniques that are required for team leaders to safely respond to and lead an emergency response team during an onsite emergency situation. Although the course can be designed to meet specific organisational requirements it covers the following where required:
- Incident assessment
- Effective briefing and debriefing
- Planning and organising
- Dynamic risk assessment
- Team leadership and mentorship
- Safe use of firefighting equipment
