FIRE SAFETY FACILITIES

number FIRE SAFETY TRAINING ROOM AND SPRINKLER DEMONSTRATION FACILITY
Providing examples of fire protection products on the market in the Fire Safety training room some of which may be used in live fire demonstrations, in a specially designed sprinkler room adjacent to the training room.

number FIRE EXTINGUISHER TRAINING FACILITIES
Provides an environment for 'hands on' experience of the correct use of fire extinguishers and fire protection equipment.

number DRILL GROUND
Large drill ground, with training towers providing adequate facility for exercise drills and training scenarios.

number LECTURE THEATRES
Provides a learning environment in two theatres capable of seating up to 50 people in each one.

Large hall that is capable of seating 150 people, equipped with state of the art audio and visual equipment.

Providing a learning environment that is fully equipped with 12 computers.

RESIDENTIAL AND CATERING FACILITIES

Providing residential accommodation for over 100 people. Within the accommodation there is en-suite facilities, TV, Broadband capability, kitchen, lounge and laundry facilities.

Located within one of the accommodation blocks there is access to a prayer room.

Providing a dining experience that is appropriate in meeting the needs of all using the facility.

Training and development facility that provide realistic conditions for experiencing heat build up, humidity, heat barriers and heat and smoke travel.

number ROAD TRAFFIC COLLISION (RTC)
Simulation area allowing training and extrication and trauma care, within realistic and dynamic emergency situations.

number FIRE INVESTIGATION SIMULATION FACILITIES
Providing an excellent learning environment that simulates all aspects of fire investigation from arriving at the scene to investigating the cause.

number EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SIMULATOR
Provides a learning environment where the complexity, ‘chaos’ and challenge of real incidents are created.

number SILO AND ROPE RESCUE
Specialist agricultural and industrial rescue operations, utilising rope rescue techniques.

Provides confined space scenarios replicating realistic conditions including intense heat and minimal to zero vision.

Washington Hall UK’s 28 acre site has a wide range of excellent training and recreational facilities available for hire to any organisations wishing to outsource their training and event management needs.

One of our major customers United Utilities Plc have used Washington Hall as there main outsource training and development facility and have
trained over 7500 personnel since 2003.
