“Dubai Civil Defence has always endeavoured in aspiring to achieve best practice in all that we do. The importance that we put on training and developing our officers is one of the major priorities of the Civil Defence. Through the guidance of our illustrious Director Brigadier Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, who has personally given his time to become involved in the selection of students to be trained and developed as future officers of the Dubai Civil Defence, this responsibility has been entrusted to Washington Hall UK who are part of Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service. The relationship between the Dubai Civil Defence and Washington Hall is based on friendship, pride, trust and endeavour and as such we will be signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Chief Fire Officer of Lancashire Fire & Rescue to build on this relationship for the future.”
